About this class

Take time to breathe deeply, create and reflect. In the intensive pottery with mindfulness workshop, you will work intensively on the pottery wheel for 4 days, accompanied by daily mindfulness exercises. Immersed in nature and with a maximum of 5 participants, the course offers space for creativity, peace and real connection — with yourself and others. Including food, accommodation, glaze and shipping of your works.

What you’ll do in the class

  • Monday to Thursday: intensive work on the pottery wheel
  • Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including a lunch break
  • Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excl. lunch break
  • 3 nights in the Waldhaus (2 & 3-bed rooms)
  • Daily mindfulness exercises while sitting with respiratory focus
  • workshop catering (lunch, tea, espresso, cake)
  • Introduction & specialization in turning techniques
  • Design & processing of individual ceramic pieces
  • Decoration with patterns & texturing tools
  • Joint lunch & group exchange
  • After the course: glazing, high firing & shipping of the works
